Walt Siegl Racing X Pagnol and SMD
Last 2016 October I had the awesome opportunity of collaborating with my dear friend Walt Siegl for this rare "racing" project of his, simply called WSM RACING.
One of the main reasons I love Walt's bikes is that they are "performance correct". He used to be a racer, so racing performance is at the top of his list when creating his builds: Geometry, engine, suspension, body position and so on, so it only made sense for him to design a full on superbike from his MV Augusta Bol D'or platform.
Knowing of my livery design background with my studio www.SpeedMachinesDesign.com having worked in AMA to MotoGP, he asked me if I wanted to design the livery for his racing project and of course that was a no brainer, but I also suggested using Pagnol's M5 tracksuit!
He had already used the suit for a video (That we have yet to see!) of the David Yurman MV bike and loved the way it looked with the PRAEM BMW-Le Mans project, so we were all in agreement! one of a kind bike with a one of kind suit! (At the time).
The project was done for the Barber Motorsports Raceway 2016 ARHMA round in October during the Barber Vintage Festival, of course an event I could not miss!
The following is a gallery of the bike and event, enjoy!
