The 2017 Quail Motorcycle Gathering details and spirit report
This year, after a few exhausting 2017 moto events I assisted as sponsor/vendor, from the 1 Moto show to the Pro Italia Cafe Desmo to my recent trip to Austin TX for the Hand Built show and MotoGP (Not as a vendor there), I decided to assist the Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Carmel, Ca in more of a "journalistic" manner and even just to hang out and ride up there! No "being stuck in a booth" this time baby!
This gave me the opportunity to freely roam around and put my photographic skills to use for other than our brand and featured riders photoshoots. The weather was cold and overcast but this was heaven for motorcycle photography!
This is the first of a few "event reports" series to share the experience and some of our favorite bikes from the event, which this year was celebrating 50 years of the Norton Commando, Enjoy!
Our favorite bike from the show, this Moto Guzzi from Untitled Motorcycles USA by our friend and Pagnol creative rider Hugo Eccles.
Although a Diamond Atelier's Mark II inspired bike, our 2nd favorite bike is this BMW by Plam Werks.
